What can we learn from polls? “A Primer in the Art and Science of Election Polls” will be presented by Professor Krista Jenkins on Thursday, February 27 at 7:00. Krista Jenkins is a Professor of Politics and Government at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she is also the director of the FDU Poll.

Professor Jenkins is the author of numerous articles and books, and is a frequent broadcast and print commentator on politics in New Jersey and beyond. She is the coauthor of A New Engagement? Political Participation, Civic Life and the Changing American Citizen (Oxford University Press), the author of Mothers, Daughters, and Political Socialization: Two Generations at an American Women’s College (Temple University Press), and the coauthor of Where Have All the Heroes Gone? Changing Conceptions of American Valor, which was recently published by Oxford University Press in February. Her research interests include gender and politics, youth and politics, and American political behavior more generally.
